THE NORTH FACE & END.’S REMADE COLLECTION

END. and The North Face come together for a bespoke REMADE collection.

The North Face is known to design for durability, and in a time where an unimaginable amount of textiles are sent to landfill every year, steps need to be taken to work with the resources we have. END. continue to push the boundaries of fashion, inspiring and educating along the way. Enter the capsule collection pushing the boundaries of imagination in responsible design. RENEWED REMADE is a platform focusing on increasing the lifespan of already existing products. Every piece is unique, starting out life as something else like a trusted jacket or timeworn tee. The North Face’s expert designers take in the old and create something entirely new, salvaging usable materials and repairing any wear and tear.

In a brand new partnership, END.’s design team were invited to work alongside The North Face for a bespoke REMADE collection, carefully selecting discarded product, deconstructing and sewing to create something new, innovative and one of a kind. The collection is comprised of eight unique and one-off pieces, each one designed and crafted in a completely cyclical manner, with the materials, details and trims all made using upcycled pieces.

In the collection you can find The Himalayan Poncho, for instance, that has all of the features of the iconic jacket you’d expect, only reworked with the addition of panelled underarms front and back. The Volume Hybrid jacket, meanwhile, combines two fundamental pillars of The North Face’s design, merging both an insulated and shell jacket into one. Continuing with the theme of sustainability, the Reversible Wind and Down jacket represents a fusion of upcycled windproof, fleece and down filled fabric, allowing the jacket to be worn two ways for increased versatility.  The collection also comes with a two-piece set, consisting of a cropped, double hooded jacket — one of which packs away into the collar — and a double-pleated wrap skirt.  The Volume Hybrid Pant offers further versatility, constructed using different materials that can be worn multiple ways using adjustable buckles. A duo of REMADE accessories completes the collection. With a convertible utility bag made using down jackets and a Geo Dome scrap quilt made from a plethora of various functional pockets.

All proceeds from The North Face & END.’s REMADE collection will be donated to Protect Our Winters UK, an outdoor climate action charity helping people become effective climate advocates to achieve systemic solutions to climate change.
