END. X TIMBERLAND “ARCHIVE”
11 December 2023With their inaugural capsule, END. and Timberland join forces to pay homage to the iconic 3-Eye lugged shoe.
Joining forces for the first time, END. and Timberland create their inaugural collaborative capsule titled “Archive”. The capsule is designed to pay homage to a well-loved Timberland icon, the 3-Eye Lug, drawing inspiration from the archival posters used to advertise the shoe in the ‘80s and ‘90s. The two-piece capsule is comprised of a duo of takes on Timberland’s esteemed lugged shoes, pairing the 3-Eye Lugged shoe with the lesser seen 7-Eye Lugged boot.
Since its inception in 1978, Timberland’s 3-Eye Lug has represented a mainstay in the world of fashion, unanimously loved for its seamless fusion of rugged durability and sartorial refinement. With the “Archive” capsule, END. looks to retain the traits of the classic shoes while elevating things further, introducing some premium and bespoke touches to both iterations.
Both iterations are crafted from premium leather — black for the 3-Eye Lug shoe, tan brown for the 7-Eye Lug boot — and feature plush pony hair detailing for subtle, textural contrast. Furthering the bespoke look, both iterations are detailed with END.-engraved metalwork at their eyelets, as well as co-branded debossing worked into their insoles.
The END. x Timberland “Archive” capsule will launch via END. Launches on the 15th December.
