Summer's on its way out, and that's no bad thing. The best season of the year runs on rain, cold mornings and the clothes you’ve been secretly waiting to wear all summer. We’re treating autumn with the respect it deserves.

Wax jackets built to withstand inevitable bad weather. Waffle long sleeves for the layer nobody else sees, but that you can thankfully feel. Knitted jumpers in lambswool and merino, doing the heavy lifting once the temperature drops. Sturdy boots and leather shoes for anything the rain throws at them. Checks are everywhere this season, and the trending colour palette has turned earthy: rust, olive, chestnut, the shades that come to life once summer's gone. Beanies are back in rotation, and heavyweight workwear shirt jackets pull double duty as the layer you reach for before the proper coat comes out.
