The Great Frog

Long before silver jewellery became a fixture in contemporary menswear, The Great Frog was carving skulls, reapers and occult symbols into handcrafted rings from a small Soho workshop. Founded on Carnaby Street in 1972 by Paterson Riley and Carol Lehtonen-Riley, the British jeweller emerged as a darker counterpoint to the era's prevailing ideals, drawing inspiration from biker culture, heavy metal and the rebellious spirit simmering beneath the surface of London's creative scene.

That uncompromising attitude remains unchanged today. Under the direction of Reino Lehtonen-Riley, the founders' son, The Great Frog continues to create jewellery with a distinctly individual point of view. Each piece is handcrafted in London, carrying decades of expertise alongside the symbolism and storytelling that have become the brand's hallmark.
