Acne Studios Share Playful Face Collection

The iconic logo of Jonny Johannson's label, the Lagom face emblem returns this season.

With two small circles and a long rectangle, the face motif was born. Having made occasional cameos within previous Acne Studios collections, the emoticon became the protagonist of its own standalone collection in 2017. Jonny Johansson, Creative Director of Acne Studios, describes the face motif as an ordinary Swedish citizen — not too happy, not too sad, but somewhere in between — “Lagom” in Swedish.

For the Acne Studios Face collection, the brand plays with different interpretations of the iconic face motif — an elevated enamel patch, a fun, oversized rubber patch, a sporty reflective patch, a retro 3D embroidered patch and a jacquard woven tape with a repeated motif. Featured on relaxed, no-nonsense unisex garments, shoes and accessories, the collection comes in an even wider range of colours, with seasonal additions of blue, pink, jade, orange, yellow, green and brown.
