NANGA’s story starts far from the summit — in 1941, inside a small sewing workshop in Maibara, where the Yokota family stitched sofas and crafted cotton futon bedding with meticulous care. The brand later adopted the name NANGA, inspired by Nanga Parbat, marking its shift into purpose‑built outdoor gear. By 2003, the Aurora Down Jacket arrived — a milestone that helped cement the reputation of men’s NANGA for featherlight warmth and technical reliability.
