STONE ISLAND SS25

Landing in time for summer, Stone Island’s latest drop sees the iconic Italian sportswear innovators deliver across their mainline, Marina and Ghost lines.

Renowned the world over for their continuously evolving material experiments and dedication to design excellence, Stone Island remains a beacon of progressive design and its connection to the world of sportswear. Persistent in this approach to design, the Ravarino-based brand presents their latest selection of apparel across their mainline, Ghost and Marina lines under the guidance of Chairman and CEO, Carlo Rivetti. Captivating with a utilitarian outlook, yet primed for wear in the city, Stone Island’s aesthetic identity is connected to practicality, militaria and protective clothing.

The brand’s mainline platforms metallic fabrics this season, with the Nylon Metal ECONYL Camo Printed Smock being made from Stone Island’s new responsibly made regenerated yarns. Created from end-of-life nylon, the fabric is recycled with a complex depolymerisation process. Finished with a striking double dye procedure and then hand printed to create its distinctive camouflage effect, the process sees Stone Island move forward in their eco-minded approach. The Nylon Metal Watro-TC ECONYL 2-in-1 Jacket is a further expression of Stone Island’s advanced outlook, with the convertible hooded jacket/vest hybrid constructed from an iridescent Nylon Metal fabric, made with the same ECONYL regenerated yarns and treated with an anti-drop finish and an inner resin coating for weather resistance.

The Stone Island Marina offering presents the singular maritime-inspired pieces that fans of the brand all know and love. Developed with the same innovative spirit that sits at the core of the brand’s mainline, Marina product bridges sport and leisure style, complete with its own branding. The star of the Marina show comes in the form of a vibrant ochre-coloured Aluminium Tela Jacket with wind resistance and an anti-drop finish. Crafted from a 50Ne pure cotton poplin, the hooded jacket is laminated to an aluminium foil, protected by an additional layer of the same poplin, lending itself to supreme thermal insulation, weather resistance and giving the garment a unique handle.  Presented alongside a selection of striped shirts, rugby knits, tees and accessories that embody the Marina spirit, Stone Island’s subline nods to the heritage of the brand and the rich history of maritime pursuits in their native Italy.

Stone Island Ghost returns again this season with their modern homage to the heritage of camouflage, with the brand’s compass badge rendered in a tonal hue. The Nylon Smerigliato Field Jacket is the perfect embodiment of the Ghost ethos, with the traditional military style garment crafted from a special brushed nylon Tela fabric, to achieve a soft handle similar to cotton, yet with the durability and hardwearing nature of nylon.
