MASTERMIND WORLD

Celebrating his original label’s twentieth anniversary, Masaaki Homma established MASTERMIND WORLD in 2017. With his worldwide following always in mind, the designer continues to experiment with materials and techniques but with the aesthetic of the main line. Influenced by his formative years working for avant-gardist Yohji Yamamoto, the infamous skull and crossbone motif decorates the brand’s premium offerings. 

Part of the label’s DNA, the macabre motif is seen everywhere, whether that’s on a Mastermind World t-shirt or hoodie.  Meticulously crafted, the sharp streetwear is often logo heavy so you’re guaranteed to make a statement wherever you go.  Featuring a predominantly jet-black palette complemented by punky plaids and the occasional pop of red, the skull-and-crossbones logo often acts as a symbol for the designer's.

Tokyo based, the premium fashion lines collections of outerwear, shirts and overshirts reflect the label's versatility. Able to focus on layering as well as core streetwear pieces, it's no surprise that collections are highly anticipated. Revered by the fashion forward for their consistency and strong designs, whether it's a Mastermind World sweat or jumper, both relaxed and smart casual days are covered.

Combining streetwear with premium quality designer, Homma is no stranger to collaborations, and is welcomed by Dr. Martens, Vans Vault and Timberland to work on its iconic footwear.
