NIKE DUNK LOW “CRACKED ORANGE” – REGISTER NOW

With the latest women’s Dunk Low, dubbed “Cracked Orange”, Nike reworks archival codes through a detail-focused lens.

When Nike’s iconic Dunk first launched in 1985, it wasn’t just the sneaker itself that caused shockwaves, but also its marketing campaign: “Be True to Your School”. It established the design codes that would become a trademark of the shoe, with two-tone, team-derived colour palettes being a signature of the Dunk.

The influence of the debut campaign is something that has continuously reverberated throughout the Dunk sphere, influencing many of releases in the decades since its inception. Take the latest women’s iteration, for instance; it’s dubbed the “Cracked Orange”, with a two-tone palette of off-white and orange that harks back to the “Syracuse” that originated in ’85. As the name would imply, however, there is more to this iteration than just the colourway, with a cracked effect worked into its Swoosh for added detail.

THE WOMEN'S NIKE DUNK LOW "CRACKED ORANGE" WILL LAUNCH VIA END. LAUNCHES ON THE 9TH AUGUST.
