Founded in Osaka in 1994, Master‑Piece emerged at a moment when men’s casual bags were still an afterthought. Taichi Fujimatsu saw an opportunity to treat everyday carry with the same seriousness as clothing — and built a brand around Japanese precision.

The turning point came in 2008 with BASE OSAKA, the label’s own factory. Few menswear brands were investing in domestic production at the time, but Master‑Piece chose control over convenience. Materials are tested, adjusted, and perfected in‑house, ensuring every component earns its place across Master-Piece bags. The result is gear that feels considered rather than complicated: technical fabrics, engineered hardware, and clever storage that elevates Master-Piece backpacks, shoulder bags, and travel pieces into objects of daily utility.
