Collaborations

END. X C.P. COMPANY “ADAPT”

Marking their debut collaboration, END. and C.P. Company join forces with “Adapt”: a nine-piece collection centred around materials and their transformation through washing, wear and UV light exposure.

Since day one, C.P. Company has been rooted in exploration of material possibilities, obsessively researching and experimenting with constructions, dyeing techniques and treatments. “Adapt” showcases a celebration of this heritage, with a selection of garments that are designed to age through wear, washing and sun exposure, allowing each piece to patina and tell the story of its owners over time. The collection is comprised of garments made from both a 7oz fine weave denim and cotton jersey, with each piece designed to honour the iconic design codes of C.P. Company.

At the centre of the collection are pieces crafted from an overdyed blue denim, designed to lighten over time and serve as a visual, metaphorical diary of how you wear it and where you live. Reflecting the utilitarian aesthetic of C.P. Company, the Goggle jacket and overshirt are resin lined for structure and arrive with large, military-derived front pockets, co-branded goggles and logo patches at the back. The bespoke, co-branded logo patches feature a transparent film coating, which allows the branding to retain the garment’s original colour and serve as a reminder of its transformation through time. The collection’s military fatigue-inspired trousers, meanwhile, are constructed using the same time-sensitive denim and detailed with the collection’s co-branded patches. The accessories come by way of a bucket hat and a cross-body bag, with both crafted from the time-sensitive denim and detailed with bespoke co-branding.

The collection’s jersey pieces, a duo of tees and hoodies, are given a much bolder approach in terms of colour, garment dyed in a fluorescent shade of orange and green, respectively. Just like the denim garments, they’re designed to achieve a unique patina through UV light exposure, fading over time to reflect the unique stories of their wearers. Each piece is printed with the collection’s co-branded logos at the chest, which feature the same transparent film to showcase the level of wear and patina in each piece. Hoodies feature END. branding worked into their sleeve goggles, while tees are printed with the label’s legendary sailor graphic in large at the back.
