International pioneers sitting at the very forefront of innovative footwear tooling and development, adidas has unveiled plans for the first official UK release of the Alpha Edge 4D - a high performance running shoe featuring midsoles crafted with light and oxygen using Digital Light Synthesis technology. This next-generation technology uses digital light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to generate high performance, durable polymeric product.
Coming to fruition as the outcome of adidas' FUTURECRAFT 4D development programme, the AlphaEdge 4D combines adidas' extensive archive of computational athletic data to create a midsole with precisely engineered zones that meet the needs of athletic performance.
The shoe's upper features heat-treated, TPU coated fibres that are constructed to provide targeted running support combined with light-weight durability. Bounce cushioning provides the ultimate in comfort and flexibility, while an engineered mesh provides second-skin responsiveness.
Partnering with adidas to offer the exclusive London pick up location, raffle winners will be invited to a pop-up location in Shoreditch which will celebrate pioneering sneaker hype where it's most influential; at street level.
