NEIGHBORHOOD SS18 - Now Online

Celebrating acid house for SS18

An inimitable infusion of classic workwear staples and motorcycle details, Japanese streetwear imprint Neighborhood has become a cornerstone brand on the international utility scene since launching in 1994.

Hailing from the Harajuku district of central Tokyo, Neighborhood’s Creative Director Shinsuke Takizawa has spent two decades masterfully synthesising moto-inspired design elements and functional workwear silhouettes. The result is a distinct aesthetic language which has earned the brand a loyal legion of international fans.

Under sub-brand LUKER by NEIGHBORHOOD, the Japanese stalwarts imbue their high-function sensibility with inspiration taken from creative director Shinsuke Takizawa’s time spent in the UK in the ’70s and ’80s. For SS18 the diffusion line looks to the iconic acid house scene which rose to prevalence on the streets of Manchester. Taking a temporary departure from the brand's ultra utilitarian design cues, the LUKER by NEIGHBORHOOD range for SS18 references elements of athluxury with a premium take on urban track-suiting.

Neighborhood SS18 is now available at END.
