END. MANCHESTER ST. MARYS GATE9 September 2022
Building on the momentum of recent flagship launches in Newcastle and Glasgow, END. continues its focus on deepening community connections by unveiling a stunning 14,000 square foot flagship concept store in the heart of Manchester in the United Kingdom.
The pioneering digital fashion platform END. continues to raise the bar in premium menswear fashion with its latest physical expression in Manchester. Combining END.’s sleek modern design codes with unique architectural accents that pay homage to the city’s rich connection to cotton and textiles, END. Manchester is an ambitious step for the retailer, demonstrating the brand’s dedication to community engagement by providing an inspiring physical space for customers to connect, discover and celebrate the latest releases from world-renowned fashion labels as well as emerging and cult designers.
“Manchester has been high on our list for a long time.” Commented Parker Gundersen, CEO for END. “We have a very strong community here already who have been asking us to build a physical store for many years. When we finally found this building, we knew we had an amazing space that would allow us to create a concept that would match the high expectations of both our customers and brand partners. To finally see the finished product has been really thrilling for our team and I’m so proud of what they have achieved.”
Occupying two-storeys of premium retail space along St. Mary’s Gate in Manchester, END.’s fourth flagship boasts triple-height ceilings and a design pallete consisting of premium marble, concrete, stainless steel, glass, mirror and maple to create an iconic monolithic landscape. The ground floor hosts END.’s comprehensive selection of contemporary menswear brands, together with a carefully curated offering of highly sought-after Japanese labels and an extensive lifestyle area, alongside a dedicated wellbeing space filled with premium skincare products, fragrances and cosmetics. The first floor delivers END.’s largest sneaker offering to date, along with a wide array of luxury, streetwear and skate labels and a dedicated launch zone designed to animate and amplify END.’s industry-leading campaigns. The signature feature of the store is an unmissable scenic glass elevator wrapped in a wide bespoke marble staircase. An immense sunroof bathes the store in natural light to create a refreshing gallery-like environment that celebrates the diverse range of fashion on offer.
“Community and creativity remain at the heart of our physical projects”, said Parker. “We strive to make a unique statement with every physical location and create an inspiring space for customers to interact with END. and our brand partners. I feel our greatest strength though is ultimately the quality of our team – they’re some of the most authentic, passionate and friendly people in the industry. That cultural piece can be hard to express in an online environment which is why our team puts so much energy into making the physical experience so special and bringing the store to life with unique activations, our Talks series and other community engagement programmes.”
