Air Jordan is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the “Cool Grey” AJ11, re-releasing the fan-favourite shoe in full family sizing.
Although black, white and red will always be synonymous with Air Jordan — thanks to MJ’s iconic tenure spent with the Bulls — there are some other, more muted colourways of note. The first that springs to mind here is “Cool Grey” — It was the colour we saw when Jordan came out of retirement in 2001, marking his return to the hardwood with the Washington Wizards and donning a pair of grey AJ11s.
The colour would then go on to grace a long list of grails from the Air Jordan archives — from the AJ4 right the way to the AJ9 — but this season we’re taken back to where it all began: the AJ11. The shoe is releasing in a complete family size run, from full right the way down to crib sized, with each one coloured in those famous grey hues.
