9 November 2023Returning with a plethora of new styles for AW23, SPZL offers the perfect embodiment of classic adidas charm.
Taking aim at a variety of footwear silhouettes this season, adidas’ SPZL line continues to delve into the brand’s archive, highlighting iconic styles in all-new colourways and spotlighting new models that offer a fresh twist on traditional adidas aesthetics.
Spearheaded by Gary Aspden, the adidas SPZL line offers up a duo of Samba Deco shoes dressed in subtle brown and black colourways. Punctuated with minimalist details and subtle branding that nods to the history of the silhouette, the Samba Deco introduces a quiet twist to the storied sneaker. The Moscrop, the Inverness and the Hiaven channel vintage Hiking sneaker aesthetics as a counterpoint to the Samba Deco’s terrace heritage, while the Lawkholme and Englewood sneakers rounding off the collection, with the former nodding to the Peter Black factory location in Keighley and the later paying homage to an adidas legend: Jacques Chassaing.
