We’re proud to announce that END. is an official partner with adidas Originals for the 2025 Mercury Prize.
This year, the iconic music award leaves London for the first time and heads to Newcastle upon Tyne – END.'s home city. Together with adidas Originals, we’ll be celebrating the very best in UK & Irish music, right here in the North East of England.
Renowned for their focus on spotlighting artists that are under the radar and at the cutting edge, the Mercury Prize has spent the past 33 years championing musicians for their contributions to culture, with a specific focus on the full-length album. Originally founded in 1992, the awards have seen Primal Scream, Dizzee Rascal, Skepta, Arctic Monkeys, PJ Harvey, Dave and Little Simz, amongst others, win the prestigious award at a ceremony that has traditionally been held at Abbey Road Studios. Venturing out of the British capital this year, Newcastle will play host to the awards as a new artist will take the crown.
As always, the 2025 shortlist represents the breadth of British and Irish talent, with CMAT, Emma-Jean Thackray, FKA Twigs, Fontaines D.C., Jacob Alon, Joe Webb, Martin Carthy, Pa Salieu, PinkPantheress, Pulp, hometown hero Sam Fender and Wolf Alice all selected ahead of the ceremony next month.
