Watch Now: Heron Preston Inspired by NASA 'Above the Clouds'

Heron Preston takes his recent collaboration with NASA extra-terrestrial in this docu-film | The Heron Preston Inspired by NASA collection is now available at END.

For AW18, Heron Preston delivers the much-anticipated sequel to his irreverent capsule co-signed by the NYC Department of Sanitation with an explosive collaboration inspired by none other than NASA.

In celebration of the American space agency's 60th anniversary, Preston links up for a slew of premium streetwear essentials featuring graphic typography and dual-branded logo placement.

Where the DSNY collaboration was inspired by Preston's personal experiences with waste in the ocean, this latest collection looks to the future of waste management: Space Waste. With an entire department of the NASA programme devoted to exploring management strategies for orbital waste left behind by man's forays into the unknown, Heron Preston explores themes of sustainability and accountability shone through a decidedly 21st-century lens.

To launch the space-age collaboration, Heron Preston realised his personal dream of sending one of the products to space. Utilising drone technology, Preston enlisted the help of aerospace engineers to send the collection's Tech Parka to the outer limits of the atmosphere.

Documented in this docu-film by Heron Preston and David Laven - with cameo appearances from Virgil Abloh - Preston defines the context and inspiration behind one of the most pioneering collaborations of our generation so far.

The Heron Preston inspired by NASA collaboration is now available at END.
