Last week, luxury outerwear experts, Moncler signalled a change of gear with the announcement of their 'Moncler Genius' initiative. In what's already slated to be some of the most important and coveted collaborative product of the year, the Italian sportswear monolith will partner with a slew of industry heavyweights on monthly capsule collections.
Selected for their 'exceptional minds', creative participants include Craig Green, Hiroshi Fujiwara (Fragment Design), Pierpaolo Picciolo (Valentino), and Francesco Ragazzi (Palm Angels); each carefully selected for their pioneering and innovative visions.
The entire roster of 'Moncler Genius' collaborations will be unveiled this evening at Milan Fashion Week, and will thereafter be released in monthly instalments. Scheduled for presentation at the newly monikered 'Moncler Genius Building', the space will serve as an immersive brand experience which makes the companies legacy, heritage, and vision tangible through the celebration of innovative sportswear product.
