END. X LACOSTE 'ARCADE'

Unveiling the beginning of their 20th anniversary celebrations, British retailer END. visit their beloved North East coastline to honour this momentous milestone. Split into three sections, the “Coastal” collection captures all the pleasures of the seaside, from the culinary delights of the traditional chippy and the rugged beauty of the North Sea to the joys of the neon-tinged arcade.

Following our windswept coastal wanderings, seek refuge within the dazzling lights and cacophonous sounds of the “Arcade” for some entertainment. Plucking aesthetic cues from high octane arcade driving video games, END.’s collaboration with Lacoste delivers ‘90s motorsport style in spades.

Moving things onto the track, Lacoste’s 8-piece offering sees the French brand collaborate with END. for the first time. Debuting with a collection that calls to mind ‘90s racing car games, the pieces subtly nod to nostalgic details, distant memories and the aesthetics of virtual racing car games.

Centring around an oversized check in navy blue, the apparel conjures images of late 20th century car enthusiast style. Delivered with their trademark French pedigree and stylistic sensibility, the collection distils French Riviera looks, filtered through END.’s vision of contemporary streetwear across a Blouson Jacket, Tracksuit, classic Polo shirt and jersey sweatshirt. Rounding out the collection, the Umpire sneaker is rendered in an off-white hairy suede with a metal croc logo to the side wall. Embellished with appliqué patches that nod to the car club motifs of the era, the collection is signed off with a brand-new END. and Lacoste logo in blue and green.

The END. x Lacoste 'Arcade' collaboration is available online and in all END. stores now, with the first 100 in-store purchases receiving a free gift created and designed by clay sculptor and animator, William Child.
