CONVERSE X CARHARTT WIP ONE STAR & FASTBREAK PRO

Converse and Carhartt WIP have a history of joining forces, with classics from the footwear label’s line-up often transformed through a utilitarian lens — an homage to the Detroit brand’s longstanding history in workwear. That theme continues with their latest collection, with two of Converse’s signature sneakers given a workwear-inspired makeover.

There is a first, however — the link-up marks their first collaborative skate shoe, with the Fastbreak Pro brought under the spotlight, alongside the classic One Star sneaker.

Both shoes retain their classic appearance, only they’re reworked with a mixture of off-white leather and suede and joined to gum rubber outsoles that nod to Carhartt WIP’s signature Hamilton brown hue. To further the collaborative look, each sneaker comes with co-branded logos at the tongues, with Carhartt WIP’s golden ratio worked into “Converse”.
