Vans Vault and Tetsu Nishiyama’s WTAPS team up once again this season to produce a four-part capsule that marries SoCal skate aesthetics and trend-defining Japanese streetwear. It’s immediately clear on this pair of white Slip Ons – the laid-back sneaker that’s a near-constant presence in skateparks around the globe. They’re built with premium white suede rather than the usual canvas, but the tooling underfoot remains untouched from a construction standpoint. The high foxing tape takes on a stealthy black hue and has WTAPS’ signature coordinate branding – leading to the brand’s Shibuya atelier – printed throughout.
