Aimé Leon Dore was founded in Queens, New York, and draws so much of its aesthetic from the city’s cultures and surroundings. A partnership with Timberland comes naturally, then, given the Big Apple’s love for the brand. It’s the iconic 3-Eye Lug that’s the shoe of choice — fitting, given the sartorial aesthetic favoured by Teddy Santis — and things remain as they always do. The handsewn, brown leather uppers remain, as does the lugged, boot-inspired sole, but there’s a small woven brand tab at the heel for a low-key touch.
