In his AW19 collection, Craig Green explored concepts of fragility and strength in relation to masculinity. Here, the designer takes a piece of athleisure – the grey marl crew sweat – and subverts it, inserting a subtle back seam and a lacing configuration around the neck. A classic item of menswear is subsequently softened and elevated to high fashion status.
