By crafting stories and replicating traditional craft techniques, BODE manages to create intricate pieces with the same ‘emotional quality’ as vintage. With the Botanic Shadow jacket the story is inspired by Hollywood’s Regency-style shadow quilts, which paired dark wadding with light sheer fabric to create a shadow effect. The result? A boxy quilts jacket with intricately embroidered florals and a muted colourblock design.
