Arpenteur’s influences come from mid-century French workwear and the comic books that its founders, Lyonnais cousins Laurent Bourven and Marc Asseily, grew up reading. The navy Marina pant is based on traditional sailing trousers and crafted, like all Arpenteur clothing, in France. Its nautical roots are alluded to with the woven patch depicting a sailboat at the centre back of the waistband.
