The first new arrival for SS14 here at END, AMI is the brain child of French designer Alexandre Mattiussi. A former student at the Duperré fashion design school in Paris, Mattiussi cut his teeth working for Dior, Givenchy and Marc Jacobs before coming out with his debut collection in 2011. Focusing on ready to wear pieces and easy, honest design, AMI create clothing with nods to classic tailoring, Parisian sophistication and with a sense of authenticity.
A refined new aesthetic for the classic vulcanised sole sneaker, the AMI Woven Leather Sneaker is made in Portugal from superbly smooth leather. With a perforated toe box and woven side panel, this low profile design is fully lined in leather and sits on top of a tonal sole unit.
