Catching the final tube to the eighties, adidas’ Continental 80 gets a Transport for London makeover – courtesy of the underground’s Metropolitan and Circle lines. Rushing to the platform with comfort making the commute a whole lot easier, OrthoLite® and EVA technology work tirelessly for a cushioned stance; backing up the vintage white uppers, with each London line’s logo stamped proudly to the heel. Coveted for its sidewall stripes, the Continental 80 swaps in the fuchsia of the Metropolitan line to mimic the London tube map, while the Circle’s signature yellow is adopted by adidas’ branding. Pairing the heritage of its 80s roots with that of London’s tube system, the Continental 80 steps foot on the tube with a retro gum rubber sole that’s steeped in nostalgia.
