Rick Owens is famous for his non-conformist aesthetic, and that same trait is shared with Dr. Martens, too. This season, the two come together to celebrate that, and it’s the iconic 1461 shoe that’s spotlighted. They’re subtle — at least by Rick’s usual avant-garde standards — but there are some switch ups. The uppers are cut from smooth black leather, naturally, and feature abstract font embossed on one side, while the AirWair® sole is chunkier and comes with double the welt stitching, too.
