With over 150 years experience, G.H. Bass's Weejuns is firmly rooted in timeless classics. Founded in Maine, USA in 1876, the label’s footwear quickly became a staple amongst high society gentlemen. Premium and intentional, Bass Weejuns footwear embodies a rich legacy of purpose-built products so it's no surprise the label is now a modern American stalwart. Creating numerous footwear icons, in 1936 Bass Weejuns added a stylistic twist to the Norwegian farm shoe designed for loafing in the field. Calling them ‘Weejuns’, they are classed as being the world’s first penny loafer.
