Utility is central to Nigel Cabourn’s designs, taking elements from traditional military gear that’s designed, first and foremost, for function. This season, he looks towards Yosemite National Park and The Stonemasters who were a near-permanent fixture on its cliff faces in the early ‘70s. Inspired by their appropriation of military surplus – chosen for its hard-wearing properties and ready availability – this army jacket is crafted from durable herringbone cotton and garment dyed for a Californian sun-bleached look.
This product has undergone a garment dyeing process. Any uneven colour of the surface is a distinctive feature of the wash.
