Inspired by 80s basketball culture and the streetwear that defined that generation, Boston-based sneaker label New Balance offers up its signature 550 sneakers. Unlike most NB 550 renditions with an all-leather uppers - although still retro-inspired with performance in mind - this black pair is decked out with supple suede overlays, accompanied by tonal accents of light grey throughout. Underfoot, they sit atop an EVA-cushioned midsole and gum rubber outsole, rounding together the retro-infused design.
