This isn’t the first time adidas and Lego have teamed up. In fact, it’s not even the first time they’ve collaborated on a ZX model — in 2020, they joined forces as part of the A-ZX series. This ZX 8000 similarly celebrates the iconic toys, taking on the ash-grey hue from the base sets. Everything from the mesh and suede upper to the Torsion-stabilised sole unit is monochrome, so you’ll have to look close to see textured references to the bricks on the heel counter, eyestays and lace tag. The only colourful hits appear on the manufacturer’s logo at the tongue and neon-trimmed three stripes at the sidewall.
