2 CHAINZ – “DOPE DON'T SELL ITSELF”
With 2 Chainz’s seventh studio album, “Dope Don’t Sell Itself”, the Atlanta rapper leans in on his synonymous trap sound. The 12-track album sees energetic beats combined with punchy vocals, with the artist tapping into Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg for guest verses.
SABA – “FEW GOOD THINGS”
Saba’s third full-length project, “Few Good Things”, showcases the Chicago rapper’s personal and reflective approach to storytelling. The tone throughout the 14-track piece is one that’s upbeat and relaxing, with Saba’s sharp lyricism — as well as guest appearances from 6LACK, Black Thought and Daoud — delivered over laidback instrumentals.
CONWAY THE MACHINE – "JOHN WOO FLICK (FEAT. BENNY THE BUTCHER & WESTSIDE GUNN)"
Conway The Machine brings Benny The Butcher and Westside Gunn on board with “John Woo Flick”: an all-Griselda affair that forms part of his upcoming album, “God Don’t Make Mistakes”. The release showcases the trio’s signature sound, with gritty verses traded against an ominous instrumental.
JUICE WRLD – “CIGARETTES”
Juice WRLD’s posthumous release, “Cigarettes”, showcases the late rapper’s alternative approach to hip hop. The track is one that’s emotive and melodic, with the artist’s crooning rhymes combined with relaxing strings and heavy bass drums.
OMAR S – “54321”
Omar S and Desire join forces with “54321”: a dark and hazy track geared for after-hours dancefloors. Sharp hi hats, thumping bass drums and atmospheric synths are combined with Megan Louise’s hypnotic vocals.
