Adidas x Fucking Awesome SambaCore Black, White & Gold
adidas is riding the wave of the retro sneaker resurgence and is keeping the momentum going with numerous renditions and collaborations of its coveted Samba. Now we see the household name link up with Fucking Awesome, the cult followed New York based skate brand headed by pro skateboarders Jason Dill and Anthony Van Engelen. This joint venture offers a flipped version of the sneakers' traditional monochromatic colour scheme. The tumbled leather upper is dressed in 'Core Black', highlighting the heel tab, serrated 3- Stripes, and the emblazoned FA branding on the tongue that pop in contrasting ‘Cloud White’. Custom sockliners feature dual branding, including the iconic Trefoil enhanced with gold foil finishes, while the streamlined silhouette is anchored by a durable cupsole crafted from semi-translucent rubber with a subtle grey tint.
