Aimé Leon Dore fans and sneakerheads alike have been waiting patiently in the sidelines for New Balance’s first drop with Teddy Santis at the creative helm – and for good reason. This upcoming capsule of some of the sportswear brand’s most popular silhouettes – including this premium take on the 990v2 – is sure to fly off the shelves. The uppers are crafted from mesh, then overlaid with hits of black suede for a classic look, while an Abzorb sole unit provides optimum cushioning with every stride. Like always, signature style codes make an appearance, in the form of an ‘N’ logo on the side wall and ‘USA’ – nodding to the brand’s Made in USA collection – stamped on the heel.
