A driving force in Birmingham’s creative scene, Bene Culture is built on collaboration, inclusivity and good energy. The brand started out as an online Depop shop selling vintage clothing before securing a space and stocking brands like thisisneverthat, Stepney Workers Club and Drama Call. When lockdown hit, founders Hemal, Vimal and Hasim had to find other ways to stay afloat. Even without a formal education in fashion, they began printing their own designs which quickly gained popularity in the local community. The clothing they created was primarily for them — and if people liked it, even better.
Bene Culture has never followed fashion formulas; it creates space for expression, connection, and creativity. From baggy Bene Culture joggers perfected over years to graphic-led tees and hoodies, the brand has curated a head to toe streetwear wardrobe without being tied down to a single concept. The brand’s Birmingham store has also become a hub in its own right, hosting pop-ups, parties, music events, and providing a place for likeminded people to have a good chat. And this community spirit spills over into the brand’s designs, too, whether it's by sourcing local manufacturers just down the road to work with or spotlighting local brands to put Birmingham on the streetwear map. Small-scale, hands on, no gatekeeping.
The brand’s motto is “It’s all good”. And it shows. It’s in the clothing, the collaboration and the community. Discover Bene Culture streetwear, right here at END.
