Founded in 2020, Port Tanger is an eyewear label shaped by travel, memory and a deep sense of narrative. Created by stylist Vanessa Reid, photographer Bibi Borthwick and Bilal Fellah, the brand takes its name from the city of Tangier — a historical crossroads where cultures, colours and stories naturally converge. That spirit runs through every frame, imagined as if lifted from the pages of a well‑kept travel diary.
Rooted in personal recollections and a curiosity for the world, Port Tanger treats eyewear as an expressive object rather than a seasonal accessory. Each design reflects the founders’ combined background in fashion and image‑making, resulting in silhouettes that feel thoughtful, individual and quietly distinctive.
Handcrafted in Japan, the frames are made using premium acetate, carefully considered hardware and UV‑protective nylon lenses. Defined by softly curved proportions that follow the natural contours of the face, Port Tanger eyewear celebrates individuality, global connection and the beauty of slow, intentional design.
