Gottlob is more than a name that captures your attention. In German, “Gottlob” expresses joy or relief, and it also happens to be the surname of founder Moritz Gottlob. The brand’s story began in Cologne back in 2002, when Moritz’s mother started handcrafting one-of-a-kind jewellery in the family atelier. Fast forward to 2024, and Moritz launched Gottlob World — a playful universe of jewellery and objects, using materials like 925 sterling silver.

Where Gottlob jewellery inspiration all began: when Moritz moved to Tokyo, his mother made him a bracelet as a lucky charm for his travels. That simple piece sparked conversations everywhere he went, eventually inspiring the four-leaf clover motif that now defines Gottlob. Each Gottlob bracelet and necklace is still made by hand in Cologne, carrying with it the warmth of family tradition and the spirit of connection.
