Becoming a huge player in the streetwear game, and to what is now known as the "Ura-Hara'' movement, Neighbourhoods menswear line has become a cult-favourite. The success is off the back of Takizawa’s early disapproval of streetwear available, turning to his love of American motorcycle aesthetics, military attire, and music to inspire collections, resulting in the brand we know and love today. Think cool and gritty hoodies that are faded, damaged, and repaired, statement graphic t-shirts, or creative gothic homeware. Neighborhood’s Western rebellion married with traditional Japanese DNA is ever present.
