Inspired by Danish mid-century modernism, ferm LIVING is the home of considered design and curated living. Founded in Copenhagen in 2006, Trine Andersen sought wallpaper that reflected her modern, graphic eye, but she found only a landscape of conventional patterns and uninspired repeats. So, she created her own. That moment of instinctive creativity became the seed from which ferm LIVING grew – a design house shaped by craftsmanship, authenticity, and a nod to Nordic style. Even its name, drawn from Andersen’s grandma’s phrase “ferm på fingrene” – capable, skilled hands – captures the brand’s value for the intimate, human touch behind every object.
ferm LIVING’s collections are guided by contrasts: sculptural lines against organic textures, muted tones against deliberate graphic gestures, minimalist silhouettes enriched by warmth and colour. Each piece is an invitation to slow down and let design become a quiet rhythm in the everyday. Underpinning this deep philosophy is a commitment to responsibility, sustainably sourcing, long-lasting materials, and mindful production, ensuring that beauty and ethics remain inseparable.
From home decoration, tableware, and mirrors, ferm LIVING continues to expand its range. Exploring the beauty of organic shapes, the Pond mirrors are one of our ferm favourites here at END., a coveted design that brings a sense of nature and the brand’s love of modern, unapologetic creativity into your home. The Cilla tapestry blanket transforms everyday textiles into works of art. Woven from GOTS-certified organic cotton using traditional tapestry techniques, it features a hand-painted floral motif that mimics the softness and movement of botanical life. Each piece embodies the ferm LIVING design language: thoughtful, elevated, and contemporary.
Today, ferm LIVING is celebrated far beyond Denmark, yet remains true to its origins – rooted in intuition, honest materials, and a belief that home is a canvas for life’s beautiful moments. Through every curve, seam, and surface, the brand continues to craft spaces that feel warm, grounded, and rich in texture, helping curate spaces that are considered and intentional.
