The North Face’s Steep Tech line was born in ’91 and geared toward extreme skiers. Now, though, it’s more city focused, as this black and blue jacket shows. It’s still functional and utilitarian, however. It’s cut from a breathable, wind resistant and waterproof nylon, then detailed with an array of pockets and a D-ring loop at the front.
