Collaborating since 2010, Nike and Undercover continue to introduce killer products for the modern sneakerhead. First released in 1979, the Daybreak runner continues to be the collaborative canvas of choice for the two streetwear giants; this time offering a fresh new colourway for the ladies. Staying true to the OG, the retro runner sits a lightweight nylon upper atop a track-focussed waffle outsole – hinting at its performance roots – and is finished in obsidian, gold and sail; while hairy suede wraps the toe, eyestays and heel to compliment the Japanese label’s penchant for luxury. Giving a unique and futuristic appearance, a jagged heel cage extends beyond the confines of the silhouette, with branding to the tongue-tab and speckled midsole joining Jun Takahashi’s signature underlined U as a final seal of approval.
