Stormzy Presents the Story of His Life in 'Gang Signs & Prayer'

'Gang Signs & Prayer' - Directed by Rollo Jackson.

Continuing to support his incredibly successful debut studio album, UK grime icon Stormzy has unveiled a short film to go along with his 2017 project. Featuring the same title as the album it accompanies, Gang Signs & Prayer lays bare the struggles of Stormzy’s life growing up in Croydon, South London.

Over the course of a hard-hitting 15 minutes, Stormzy presents the inevitability of gangland initiation during his youth.

Written and directed by visual artist Rollo Jackson, Stormzy’s new visual features the soundtrack of LP cuts “Return of the Rucksack,” “Bad Boys,” and “100 Bags.”

A groundbreaking debut album, now masterfully complemented with a mesmerising visual companion, Stormzy once again proves he is well-and-truly worthy of his hype.
