28 July 2023Nike and Yoon Ahn’s AMBUSH reunite for a transformative take in the iconic Air More Uptempo.
Since joining forces for the first time in 2018, Nike and Yoon Ahn’s AMBUSH have formed a harmonious collaborative partnership, each collection representing a disruptive take on icons from the Swoosh’s vast archive. The latest from the two is a representation of just that, bringing the legendary Air More Uptempo into the spotlight for a bespoke makeover. The partnership marks a step into new territory, with the AMBUSH Air More Uptempo representing the first low iteration of the sneaker since it debuted in 1996.
There are some things, however, which remain unchanged, like the oversized “Air” branding across the sidewalls — in yellow, overlaid across the sneaker’s beige uppers — and a large, black and Air-cushioned sole unit. The sneaker also arrives with further collab-specific detailing, with AMBUSH branding worked into the tongues, soles and heels.
