Returning for a further collaboration following last year’s joint effort with Japanese streetwear brand SOPH., END. and Timex take a deep-sea dive with the Navi XL “Bioluminescence” watch as a part of the retailer’s 15th Anniversary celebrations.
Dubbed the “Bioluminescence”, this unique collaboration between Timex and END. offers a honed take on minimalist design with a flourish of distinctive aesthetic and practical properties. Tapping the other-worldly attributes of bioluminescent organisms - creatures that produce and omit light - this wristwatch infuses the world of the deep blue sea with contemporary design. Initially appearing in a restrained black and white combination, complete with a subtle pop of vivacious red to the second hand, in the shadows is where the “Bioluminescence” watch truly comes to life as the first Navi XL to feature Indiglo technology. Under the cover of darkness, this model illuminates across the watch face in a glowing blue hue that reflects the subaqueous lifeforms that inspired it.
Built with a matte black stainless-steel case, mineral glass face, 100m water resistance and quartz analog movement, this model is based on Timex’s earliest diver-style watches, ensuring the perfect combination of heritage and conceptual design. Housed inside an elegant and minimalist storage case, END. and Timex ensure that the “Bioluminescence” is perfect for any occasion, presenting the watch with a trio of interchangeable straps – two nylon straps for daily casual use and a sophisticated black Horween leather strap for more formal moments.
