Good things come to those who wait and, fortunately, Nike’s retro of the Air Max 96 II is just that: a good thing. It’s a bit of a cult favourite, often overshadowed by the Air Max 95 and the Air Max 97 it debuted between, but a 25th anniversary is always a good excuse to celebrate. And what better way to celebrate than with one of the most famous colourways? A classic white base is accented with midnight navy panels and hits of goldenrod yellow, just as it was back in the day, and the vibrant hues continue into the exposed Air units, too. Swoosh branding throughout and archival Air Max script complete the throwback look.
