END. introduces an exclusive capsule collection with legendary Italian fashion brand Diesel.
Diesel partners with END. for an exclusive capsule of archival Diesel pieces reproduced as timeless icons. Under the creative direction of Glenn Martens and anchored in a shared love of fashion and freedom of expression, the collection honours the past and reflects Diesel’s values of inclusivity, nonconformity, bold irreverence and END.’s commitment to curating global culture and design.
The five-piece collection blends streetwear heritage with contemporary style reviving era-defining Diesel designs from the brand’s extensive archives circa 1989 - ‘92,. Each garment honours the vibrant undercurrent of underground music culture, elevating the synergy between music and fashion through faithful reproductions of the original, subtly reworked to feel as relevant today as it was at first release. Highlights include a 1990 nylon biker jacket, worked in Olive Green and juxtaposed with contrasted orange detailing, and the 1992 convertible 2-in-1 jacket and vest, which are a specific nod to Diesel's past. Further exploring graphic placements and experimental garment treatments, a ‘90s long-sleeve Biker-print tee and workwear denim jeans are presented in chalk-coated and raw finishes originally created in 1989. Graphic prints pay homage to aesthetic influences of motorsport throughout the capsule. Defining the collection, each garment features an END. x Diesel Jacquard tag in the interior and bespoke labels showcasing the history of the original piece in detail.
Celebrating the release, END. and Diesel host an exclusive launch event at Salford’s The White Hotel, an iconic motor garage turned music venue, with the evening programmed by global music platform NTS. The event will be headlined with a back-to-back set from former The Prodigy member Leeroy Thornhill and Orbital’s Phil Hartnoll, with support from local Manchester DJs Adele Tondu and Nora and a live hybrid set from Samuel Kerridge.
The END. x Diesel capsule is a modern expression of Diesel’s legacy for END.’s global audience and is available via early access at END. Manchester on Thursday 12th February, followed by a wider release online and at END. London on Friday 13th February.
