Adidas x Concepts A-ZX ZX9000Silver, Scarlet & Navy
You’d be forgiven for thinking this adidas ZX 9000 sneaker is from the future, but its crinkly, silver-toned foil upper is inspired by the mylar recovery blankets runners use after the Boston marathon. It’s designed in collaboration with Massachusetts trailblazer Concepts— ticking off the ‘C’ in the alphabetized A-ZX series— and detailed with woven Three Stripes in a patriotic, all-American colourway. Cage-like moulding around the heel adds the style’s signature high-tech touch, and it’s completed with a Torsion-aided sole unit to keep you stable all the way to the finish line.
