GOLDEN GOOSE SKETCH YOURSELF: MILLINSKY

Ahead of END. and Golden Goose’s collaborative capsule exclusive to END. Milan, the Italian brand sat down with Parisian artist & designer Millinsky as a part of their ‘Sketch Yourself’ series.

Continuing their ‘Sketch Yourself’ video series that spotlights exceptional artists and delves into their stories, inspirations and artistic practice, Golden Goose look to France for their latest subject. Focussing on Parisian artist and designer Millinsky (real name Alexandre Daillance), the video traces a line between the young artist’s design background with NASASEASONS and his approach to combining influences in his work.

Infusing his work with the personal, Millinsky details his passion for pop art and art history, stating his love of Barbara Kruger, Andy Warhol, Ed Ruscha and Christopher Wool, specifically their use of statements in their work. “The design process for every project we do, varies from project to project. I would say it all starts with a statement, which is usually the core and signature of every project we do,” comments Millinsky.
